The Wall Box Mount is the complete, all-in-one unit that installs directly onto a standard EU flush electrical installation box. It combines the magnetic mounting system, integrated smart power supply, ESP32 controller, and backlit LED ring into a single, compact module hidden inside the wall.
This version powers the tablet, enables Home Assistant and ESPHome automations, provides LED notifications or ambient backlighting, and supports optional sensors — all while maintaining a clean, cable-free appearance with a minimal gap between the tablet and the wall.
A concealed FPC charging cable provides direct power to the tablet while remaining hidden behind the mount.
A 3 mm thick solid iron tablet plate attaches securely to the back of the tablet using industrial-grade adhesive tape. Once mounted, it engages the wall mount’s powerful neodymium magnets and absorbs most of the magnetic force, keeping the tablet firmly in place without affecting its electronics.
The plate is bonded using 3M™ VHB™ 5925, a high-performance adhesive designed for long-term bonding, excellent shear strength, and resistance to temperature changes — making it ideal for permanent wall-mounted installations.
Soft silicone pads on the mount protect the tablet’s finish from scratches and prevent unwanted rotation, ensuring a stable, precise, and secure fit every time.
The mounting plate provides the same secure magnetic docking and wall installation as the Smart Wall Box Mount, but without any built-in electronics. It mounts onto a standard EU flush electrical box and holds the tablet firmly in place using neodymium magnets and a precise mechanical design.
This version does not include a power supply, ESP32 controller, or LEDs. It is ideal for minimal installations or for users who prefer a passive mount, and it can later be upgraded by adding the Modo Tab Mount PSU.
Standalone smart power supply module for the Modo Tab Mount, designed for installation inside a standard EU wall box. Provides 5V tablet power, LED control, and ESPHome-based smart features with support for optional sensors.
Power is delivered to the tablet using a thin, flexible FPC charging cable that routes through a narrow gap between the mounting plate and the wall box, keeping the installation clean and almost invisible from the front.
